Porcupine Quill Basket Bear Design. 4″ x 3″ tall. Made on Manitoulin Island Ontario. M’Chigeeng First Nation.
Porcupine Quill Baskets are made with birch Bark and Sweetgrass, using a centuries-old tradition that was used for decorating clothing. Today only a handful of Quill Worker carry on the tradition.
